EABC, East Anglian Bouldering Championship

THE EAST ANGLIAN BOULDERING CHAMPIONSHIP IS HERE!

It has been a while in development and we are extremely excited to announce the inaugural East Anglian Bouldering Championships will be held at Highball, Norwich on 7th October.

Aimed at attracting local climbers from all around the area, we want the best athletes from around the East Anglian region to join us in showcasing their bouldering talents and be in with a chance of winning the inaugural edition of the region’s premier bouldering competition.

So how will this work? Let us give you the highlights…

This will be a one day event.
There will be 2 qualifiers in the day with a grand final taking place in the evening
30 qualifying boulder problems ranging from font 4, getting progressively harder.
The top 20 scoring Male & Female competitors go through to the grand final.
We will be awarding prizes to the top 6 male and female competitors.
Grand total of £2000 in cash prizes

This is an open competition but we do have a minimum requirement. To enter, you will need to be a regular climber at one of the following climbing centres listed below to enter

Highball, Norwich
Rainbow Rocket, Cambridge
Colchester Climbing Project
Avid, Ipswich
Indirock, Southend-On-Sea
Fenrock, Kings Lynn
Rock Punk, Norwich
The Cragg, Stowmarket

This will be an event not to be missed with the best climbers from around the East Anglian region coming together to compete for the title East Anglian Bouldering Champion. Entry has now opened so make sure to book your slot asap as we expect this to be busy and you won’t want to miss out!
