Where to Find us

Here's how to get to Highball and where to park!

Location

You’ll find us at:

Highball Climbing Centre,

1 Twickenham Road,

Norwich,

NR6 6NG.

PARKING

Here is a map of the available parking our estate. If you are unsure on where any of these locations are, ask a member of staff when you next visit.

Traveling to Highball

We share the carpark with DPD Local. If the cones are out on their side, do not park within the cones. The lorries won’t be able to swing out. Sundays they are closed, the whole car park is fair game.

Bicycle

This is our number one form of transport and we actively encourage all our staff and customers to come to the centre via bike. Its cheap, quick and a great warm up for your muscles. We have secure cycle storage for 15 bicycles (we can add more!) and everyone who arrives by bike is entitled to a free cup of tea! Find a Norwich Cycle Map here!

Car

We’d like to keep car usage to a minimum and would ask those of you who do need to drive to the centre to consider offering a car share to others. We are very lucky to have use of a very large car park, but unfortunately, it isn’t all ours as it is ‘shared’ with other businesses on the estate. (See “Parking” below for more info)

Bus / Train

The nearest bus stop is on Vulcan Road, less than a 5 minute walk away. There is also another on Fifers Lane itself if you happen to miss that! These run regularly to and from the city centre and also come from the Lakenham and Brackondale area. The two lines that come to Highball are the Purple Line and Orange Line, follow the links for more info. If you’re coming from further away, Norwich Train Station is about 4 miles away, just on the edge of the City Centre. You can combine the train with the bus, or why not take your bike aboard and cycle the rest of the way.
