Ready to try something new?
If you’re new to climbing, the best and simplest way to get started is to book one of our introductory courses below. Once you’ve completed the course you should feel confident and ready to climb independently (without supervision), so you can come back to enjoy the centre at your own pace.
Intro to Bouldering
What it is: Most people book on the Intro to Bouldering course. It’s a single session that covers all the basics of bouldering, as well as how to be safe on the wall and walking around the centre so you can climb independently.
(Please note, under 16’s will need a parent/guardian present to counter sign their forms before and after the session.)
When is it: Weekdays & weekends
Who’s it for: Individuals aged 14+
Duration: 1 hour + optional independent climbing afterwards
Price: £20 per person
Private Session
What it is: If you’re in a group of friends or family, we recommend the Private Taster Sessions. They give you your own instructor who can teach you bouldering, climbing or a bit of both for anybody aged 6 or over. The sessions can be tailored to your level and your interests. Prices for Private Taster Sessions are the total cost for the group.
When is it: Weekdays & weekends
Who’s it for: Individuals or groups aged 6+
Duration: 1 hour
Price: £45 – £75 per group
Womens Intro to Bouldering
What it is: This session is the same as our Intro to Bouldering but just for women. It’s a single session that covers all the basics of bouldering, as well as how to be safe on the wall and walking around the centre so you can climb independently. It does not teach you how to use our roped walls. See our ‘Intro to climbing’ if this is what you are looking for.
