THE LAST CLIMB / ENDGAME

Dear Friends,

We still have a huge amount to do at Whiffler Road but the time has come to put some dates in the diary and a line in the sand!

So here goes….

• TWICKENHAM ROAD WILL CLOSE AFTER ‘THE LAST CLIMB’ ON FRIDAY 7TH FEBRUARY.

• WHIFFLER ROAD WILL OPEN THE FOLLOWING WEEK – DAY AND TIME TBC.

• WE WILL BE COMPLETELY CLOSED FOR AT LEAST 3 FULL DAYS.

• OUR FIRST FEW TRADING DAYS WILL LIKELY BE EVENINGS ONLY.

• THE FIRST EVENING WILL BE FOR MEMBERS ONLY.

Opening a new climbing gym is a massive undertaking with many moving parts. Add in the challenge of moving sites and the complexity greatly increases.

Our aim is to get Whiffler road 80% ready and then switch over. We’re super confident the climbing will be ready for you, however, we will likely have cosmetic bits and pieces to finish. In addition, some things we’re buying have longer lead times than we can wait for.

It doesn’t stop there.

Once we open Whiffler Road, we have a lot of work to do at Twickenham Road before we hand it back to the landlord.

So what I’m trying to say is… we have a plan but the plan may change. Hold on tight, we’re all going to have to roll with it!!
